The program offers two types of programs:

Nanodegree Programs:

Duration: Nanodegree programs are more comprehensive and typically span several months.

Depth of Learning: They provide in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in specific fields such as data science, programming, artificial intelligence, etc.

Project-Based: Emphasis is placed on real-world projects, allowing learners to apply concepts in practical scenarios.

Mentorship: Nanodegree programs often include mentorship opportunities, providing learners with guidance and support.

Certification: Successful completion results in a Nanodegree credential, indicating mastery in the chosen subject, certified by Temasek Polytechnic and Udacity. 

Advanced Short Courses:

Duration: Short courses are more condensed and can be completed within 4 weeks.

Depth of Learning: They cover specific topics or skills without the comprehensive depth and are designed for targeted and focused learning on a particular skill or concept.

Self-Paced: While still providing flexibility, short courses are generally more self-paced compared to Nanodegree programs.

Certification: Completion of a short course results in a certificate or acknowledgment, certified by Temasek Polytechnic and Udacity. 

In the knowITgetIT program, participants will actively collaborate on real-world projects meticulously curated by industry experts. These hands-on projects serve as a dynamic platform for students to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios, fostering a comprehensive and practical understanding of the subject matter.. This specialized focus aims to empower them with in-depth expertise and proficiency in specific areas, ensuring they are well-prepared for the evolving demands of future job markets. By combining theoretical learning with practical project experience and specialized skill development, knowITgetIT endeavors to provide a holistic and career-oriented educational experience.

Enrollment: Participants start by enrolling in the program, choosing from a variety of programs that are tailored to specific skills or areas of interest and vary in duration and depth of learning. 

Subsidy Vetting: Upon the submission of your application, you may become eligible for a subsidy of up to 90% from the program, providing significant financial support for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (terms and conditions apply).

Virtual Classroom Interaction: Receive access to the Udacity Online Classroom, a virtual space where participants can interact with instructors, engage in discussions with peers, and seek clarification on course content.

Community Access: Get exclusive access to the Udacity Community where you will network with other peers, potential employers and more!

Real-World Projects: Emphasize hands-on learning by working on real-world projects, applying acquired concepts to practical challenges. 

Mentorship and Support: Leverage mentorship opportunities within the Udacity Online Classroom, receiving guidance from experienced professionals in the field.

Completion and Certification: Successfully completing the short course grants participants a certificate, acknowledging their proficiency in the subject.

To be considered for the initial phase, applicants must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: 

# Hold Singaporean permanent residency or citizenship 

# Be 18 years of age or older 

# Demonstrate commitment to the program's designated timeframes

# Have the technical prerequisites specified for the relevant programs (if applicable)

Yes, however Singaporean citizens and permanent residents have the opportunity to apply for the SkillsFuture SG subsidy and receive up to 90% subsidy. Please refer to each program for its pricing as they may vary. 

You can enroll in the Short Advanced Courses at any point in time. However, applications for Nanodegree programs are open from 19th July 2024 and will close on 31st August 2024.

You can begin your Short Advanced Courses immediately upon enrollment and nanodegree programmes will kickoff from 16th September, 2024.

Unfortunately not. Acceptance is limited to one program at a time. We suggest applying for the course that aligns most closely with your interests. After completion, you are welcome for further programs. 

Fully online (both Short Advanced Courses and Nanodegrees).
